AUTUMN EVERYDAY FACE

Hey guys! I've been dying to write a post for so long but I'm still getting my timings sorted with uni! These are the products I've been using daily throughout autumn so far (autumn is my favourite season)!! I recently bought a few new products, like always, and have been putting them to the test this month. Three of these items are new buys (HOURGLASS | LIGHTING BRONZER LUMIOUS BRONZE LIGHT, HOURGLASS | AMBIENT LIGHTING POWDER ETHEREAL LIGHT, BECCA | SHIMMERING SKIN PERFECTOR PRESSED MOONLIGHT) and I have to say, they're worth every penny! Below is a look I created using autumnal colours and all of these products above.

(Excuse the crappy iPhone make-up selfies) Top | Topshop

For the eyes I just used a Coastal Scents Palette. I started off by using a skin toned/ pale shadow to create a nice base to work with. I then worked a (scarily) bright orange into the crease. I kept adding burnt orange tones and yellows into the same area to create a beautiful gradient (making sure that each colour was seamlessly blended into the previous). I decided to use Bellápierre Pigment in Champagne over the base and Becca Moonstone in the inner corner. I then darkened the crease with a chocolate brown using a pencil brush. Along the lower lash line I added the bright orange and chocolate brown again.

NARS | BLUSH OASIS
£23.00
'Sparkling pink champagne'
This is a gorgeous blush for autumn! I feel the colour is that perfect transition shade from summer to the colder months. The reflects within the blush are gold which creates a lovely sheen on the cheeks! Another pick I've been leaning towards would be Unlawful by NARS. Previous NARS Blush post here and here.

HOURGLASS | LIGHTING BRONZER LUMIOUS BRONZE LIGHT
£42.00
I never thought I'd say it but I think this has overtaken my love for the NARS Laguna bronzer. Which is slightly annoying as this product is more expensive but hey, a girls gotta get a bit of luxury in her life. I really love the sun-kissed glow this product creates, adding that bit of summer into your skin during the frosty winter!

BECCA | SHIMMERING SKIN PERFECTOR PRESSED MOONLIGHT
£30.00
'Pale Gold'
Oh man, where to start. Top 5 highlighters ever. I bought this after I wrote my Highlight Edit post, but it would have been on there. It's so pigmented and almost has a light creamy easy to apply feel. I really love a gold glow paired with brown tones during the autumn months. I think that the warm toned eye looks with gold, they go so beautifully together. But yes, I'm in love!!!

HOURGLASS | AMBIENT LIGHTING POWDER ETHEREAL LIGHT
£38.00
I use this to set the concealer under my eyes! I picked up the lightest shade so that I could try and achieve that Kardashian contour game. I've also purchased Diffused Light for when I'd like more of a candle lit glow, but it's still being shipped. Although its at the higher end of the £££ scale, I'd say it is totally worth it. I've never felt a product so silky and smooth, it's honestly a dream to use!

L'OREAL | TRUE MATCH FOUNDATION VANILLA
£9.99
So I had the pervious formula and I still do own a bottle of it. The previous version of this was loved by so many, and I have no reason to believe this version won't be. I find that this formula sits better on my skin than the previous and creates a beautiful medium coverage. I've also been using MAC Face and Body in C2 on days that I just want a wash of colour.

COLLECTION | LASTING PERFECTION CONCEALER FAIR 1
£4.19
Staple. Everyone raves about this concealer and I've been using it for years now. It's so in expensive and works a treat! Lovely build-able coverage. I like to use this under my eyes and draw a triangle shape (its all about that contour)!

L'OREAL | SUPER LINER PERFECT SLIM BLACK
£6.99
I think that this is my favourite liquid eyeliner. The only fault with it is the previous 4 I have had tend to go a bit dry after time, but I guess thats what everything will do eventually! It's really easy to create a wing with as the end is super thin!

L'OREAL | TELESCOPIC EXTRA BLACK
£10.99
I don't like to spend a bomb on mascaras as I feel like drugstore ones are just as good as high end. L'Oreal have done it with this one, I picked up my first one as recommendation from a friend and boy was she right! I love the small plastic brush as it creates length easily and doesn't create that clumpy, spider look.

LAURA MERCIER | EYE BASICS WHEAT
£21.00
This is a tester that I received with a recent SpaceNk delivery (when will I stop shopping?!). Eye Basics is said to be a camouflage for your eyes to conceal imperfections and enhance eyeshadow wear time, so it's basically a primer. I have used it under eyeshadows and it works a treat, however I do think UD Primer Potion is still my favourite. I like to use this alone to add a creamy colour to my eyes for an everyday look. It has a semi-matte finish which I love as I like a lot of highlight and don't want to look like a glitter ball. I would like to try a lighter shade as on me it is quite orange.

MAC | LIPSTICK FAUX
£15.50
'Muted Mauve-pink (Satin)
I hadn't even realised that this was such a hyped about shade until I wanted to re purchase it! I love the muted, undertone of pink mixed with a brown tone. It makes it a perfect all round colour! Summer, Winter, it doesn't matter it's an everyday shade which has had much love recently!

MAC | LIP PENCIL SPICE
£12.50
'Pink Cinnamon Stick'
There is so much hype around Spice as it is that classic Kardashian/ Jenner lip colour. However, I'm loving the autumnal colours and embracing them as much as I can! This liner has a muted pink shade under the brown which makes it easy to wear. It'll go with pretty much any pink toned lipstick, or nude! I'm also loving darker lips for the winter and berry/ purple tones!!

What are you guys loving wearing this autumn?
Thanks,

Laura x
