Long time no speak. Welcome back! Since finishing university I've spent a lot of time in-front of the computer job hunting, browsing LinkedIn, replying to e-mails and other admin based activities (obviously with a little distraction of social media and Pinterest). Since I've spent so much of my time at my desk I think it was only appropriate to create a post about what I have to hand whilst I'm there.

Snow Day Skin Saviours

It's March. It's snowing. It's cold. Isn't it meant to be Spring already?! As I'm sure you're all aware, the UK has come to a standstill at a few inches of snow (but who doesn't love a day off of work to pamper and refresh yourself)! Staying hydrated is key to feeling smooth and silky in bitterly cold weather, I've chosen a few key favourites of mine at the minute that help me out on days like this.

It's been a long time and no speak, I've been MIA on here due to my university dissertation hand in being at the beginning of this week! I'm pleased to say I have finished and handed in on time! I thought I'd do an updated selfie post as I spend far too much time rearranging my shelves. I have accumulated far too many products since Septemeber but if its pink its got to go in my basket... am I right? I've arranged this shelfie in an obvious order of colour and brand (tried to anyway)! I thought I'd share with you my current arrangement of products that I'm working my way through to share some of my favourites so far!

Mascara Wars

I always used to be one for drugstore mascaras, but ever since trying the Chanel Le Volume, I was sold into the high-end lifestyle. I think that a higher priced mascara normally lasts longer than a drugstore one. My three that I love are the Chanel Le Volume, YSL Babydoll and the Marc Jacobs Major Volume. Each mascara holds a different wand for application.

I love Lipstick. Lipgloss. Lipbalms. I'd have to say its one of my favourite make up products. I thought it would be fun to try and document my weeks this year through the products I wear on my lips. I own A LOT of lip products and always seem to add to the collection. I thought that this little project would push me to try more colours in my collection and venture to the products that I've perhaps forgotten about. The past week was a bit of a no make up week. I've decided that this is something that I'm going to try to do more this year to really let my skin breathe.

Glossier Review

I know that everyone is probably 100% bored of glossier being the main topic of everyone's blog posts by now but I thought I'd do more of an in-depth review seeing as I've been playing with these products for a few weeks now.

Have the days of matte liquid lipstick gone? All I've recently been seeing is gloss everywhere, on the catwalks and off. I for one am so here for it. I've really been loving a glossy nude lip and I think it's time to accept that the gloss days are back. Lil Mama would be proud.

Glossier UK Launch

So as everyone knows by now Glossier started shipping to the UK on Monday (9th  October) and obviously I had to place an order. I've been lusting over this brand for months dying to try everything they have to offer. I did limit myself to just getting a few things...

Shelfie V. I

So I'm soooo excited to show you my new bathroom shelves!! My bathroom didn't have much storage for making my beauty products easy to find and after seeing everyone's shelfies on Instagram I was dying to up my storage game. I recently convinced my dad to put up some shelves in my bathroom so I could see all my pretty skincare and beauty products (and make them easy to grab). It's fair to say I do secretly enjoy re-arranging the products to make them look even prettier.

Why I was a Shopaholic

This post is a little bit different for me. I've recently been trying to save £££ instead of blowing it all on beauty products. I felt like I had to always buy the latest releases and I always justified buying them by writing about it in this little space on the internet. Let's Talk Nudes

I for one am a huge fan of nude nails any time of year but, I do think that there is nothing better than a fresh coat of nude polish in the spring and summer months. I've been collecting these polishes for a while and recently ventured into more designer nail paints. I love the bottles that a high-end polish come in and it makes such a feature when put on display.

Ever get those days where you just want an easy, quick, makeup application? I feel like I get that a lot at the moment (aka me being lazy) but these products always help me to achieve a glam look with minimal effort. NARS EYES

This is just a little blog post about my NARS Duo Eyeshadow. I picked this up a while ago but was too scared to use it. I always end up making a mess of the beautiful NARS packaging and nothing is more beautiful than a fresh matte outer surface.

A PALETTE OF NUDES

As a makeup hoarder, obviously, I have many palettes and many palettes that contain nude and transition colours. BUT who wouldn't love to create their perfect palette including colours of their choice? I started creating my Z-Palette back in March 2016 but have since swapped the large palette for the extra large as my nude tones needed more room.

KYLIE COSMETICS

It feels like a very long time since I've sat down and written a blog post and truth is I just haven't felt very motivated to do so recently. BUT times have changed and I'm getting my act together and getting back on track. I received my Kylie Cosmetic lipsticks in the mail a few weeks ago now and just haven't had a chance to finish writing this post. I've had these for nearly a month now so I feel that's an appropriate length of time to write about how I feel about these lip products.
