Glossier Review

"Hi it's me again with another Glossier post because I'm the biggest glossier fan girl there is. I've had to stop myself placing my 3rd order several times now."

I know that everyone is probably 100% bored of glossier being the main topic of everyone's blog posts by now but I thought I'd do more of an in-depth review seeing as I've been playing with these products for a few weeks now.

Lipgloss is Poppin'

Have the days of matte liquid lipstick gone? All I've recently been seeing is gloss everywhere, on the catwalks and off. I for one am so here for it. I've really been loving a glossy nude lip and I think it's time to accept that the gloss days are back. Lil Mama would be proud.

Glossier UK Launch

So as everyone knows by now Glossier started shipping to the UK on Monday (9th  October) and obviously I had to place an order. I've been lusting over this brand for months dying to try everything they have to offer. I did limit myself to just getting a few things...

Oh look it's another whats in my bag post, except this time I may have treated myself again... But I mean work hard play hard right?! So this is my new baby, but not so little, it's the Louis Vuitton Neverfull GM. I was contemplating the slightly smaller one but I wanted to own a bag that would fit my laptop in. I found that for the job I had over the summer and university having my laptop on me is vital so this was the perfect pick!

The Style Diaries #1

I'm always searching on Instagram, on blogs and in magazines for inspiration so I thought that this post might be helpful for some of you. I've recently put more money into my fashion budget than beauty. I find that having 5 different foundations is excessive (I'm a hoarder I know)... I've started using my Instagram recently to publish the OOTD's (Outfit Of The Day). I find that doing this makes me try that bit harder to find an outfit in the morning.

So I'm soooo excited to show you my new bathroom shelves!! My bathroom didn't have much storage for making my beauty products easy to find and after seeing everyone's shelfies on Instagram I was dying to up my storage game. I recently convinced my dad to put up some shelves in my bathroom so I could see all my pretty skincare and beauty products (and make them easy to grab). It's fair to say I do secretly enjoy re-arranging the products to make them look even prettier.

My Skincare Journey

Hi all and welcome to the new blog! I've recently changed my domain and layout and I have to say I'm rather in love with it. It's inspired me to blog again and take pretty pictures (something I've always enjoyed doing). 

Skin care can be a bit daunting when first getting into it. I sit looking on websites feeling overwhelmed at the amount of different products and brands that there are out there. I must admit that I have always been a face wipe kind of girl but since working at a skincare company I have come to terms with just how important looking after your skin is. It's the largest organ you have, why wouldn't you look after it? 

Why I was a Shopaholic

This post is a little bit different for me. I've recently been trying to save £££ instead of blowing it all on beauty products. I felt like I had to always buy the latest releases and I always justified buying them by writing about it in this little space on the internet. Writing this post made me think about the reasons why I feel the need to spend on beauty.

Let's Talk Nudes

I for one am a huge fan of nude nails any time of year but, I do think that there is nothing better than a fresh coat of nude polish in the spring and summer months. I've been collecting these polishes for a while and recently ventured into more designer nail paints. I love the bottles that a high-end polish come in and it makes such a feature when put on display.

NARS EYES

This is just a little blog post about my NARS Duo Eyeshadow. I picked this up a while ago but was too scared to use it. I always end up making a mess of the beautiful NARS packaging and nothing is more beautiful than a fresh matte outer surface.

WHAT'S IN MY BAG?

Welcome to my first what's in my bag post! I've always been interested in what other people carry around in their bags with them and have wanted to do one of these posts for an age now. I thought that since I treated myself for my 21st birthday I should bite the bullet and write my own. For my 21st I decided to buy myself the bag of my dreams (which I had worked all summer for). This was the Louis Vuitton Speedy Bandouliere 30 in the monogram canvas (here). I bought this bag on my way to New York City where I spent my 21st birthday in the Statue Of Liberty's Crown. It has been my everyday bag for a good few months now (pretty much since I bought it) and I absolutely love it.  I use the bag with and without the strap and find on lazy days the strap becomes very handy! The monogram print is a statement Louis Vuitton print. I chose the monogram as it matched my old LV too! Win win. I find I just chuck everything and anything into this bag and by the end of the week I normally end up with 1/3 of my lipsticks just floating about in the bottom. These are a few items I like to keep in my bag on the day to day. There is also many other items found in there week to week but these are the items always found in here. In the image on the right I have taken the straps off but they attach on either side into the clips.

A PALETTE OF NUDES

As a makeup hoarder, obviously, I have many palettes and many palettes that contain nude and transition colours. BUT who wouldn't love to create their perfect palette including colours of their choice? I started creating my Z-Palette back in March 2016 but have since swapped the large palette for the extra large as my nude tones needed more room.
