WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- Moisturiser
- Favourite Foundation
- Liquid Highlighter (Optional)
- Make-up Palette
- Stippling Brush
- Beauty Sponge (Optional)
- Buffing Brush (Optional)
Firstly you'll need to prep the skin for foundation. To be honest, I'm a lazy girl and I don't always do this step. But when I do boy do I notice it. I start by pumping out some of my foundation onto the palette and mixing with a liquid highlighter. The highlighter is optional I just love a shimmer and glow.
Next you'll need to take a stippling brush and lightly push the product into the skin. No swirling motions just a push and tap. I like to start in the centre of the face and work my way out to the edges. I find that this creates less product build up around the hair line, making it easier to blend.
If you're not happy with how it is looking, I often tend to dampen a beauty sponge and push the product into the skin again, not applying anymore product, just with what is left on the face.
If I'm still not happy, I'll take a buffing brush and just buff the final parts in. But that's all I do. Once I started using a stippling brush instead of a flat foundation brush I saw an improvement with how the product sat on my face. I recommend giving this a try, however, I can't promise it'll work for everyone.
Whats your favourite foundation or make up brush?
Thanks,
Laura x
