VALENTINES DAY GLAM

This post is a make up look I've been wearing a lot recently inspired by Valentine's Day. Wether you're out with the girls or you're lucky enough to have a date, I think that this look is perfect for the 14th of February or any other day you fancy rocking some pink make up.

I firstly prepped my skin with MAC's Strobe Cream to create a glowing base for my foundation to sit on. I've used L'Oreal Paris' True Match Foundation (2.N Vanilla) and applied it with a stippling brush. To attempt to conceal that awful under-eye area I used LA Girl Pro Conceal in GC969 Porcelain. I also used this on my nose, forehead and chin.

Next up I've taken my Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Luminous Light to set my concealer and also create a glowing from within look. I think a glowing face looks healthy and radiant, but it's also a very popular look at the moment. I only used Benefit's Gimme Brow through my brows as I wanted to keep them as natural as possible without having that 'drawn on' look.

For cheeks I used a NARS blush from the Christopher Kane Collection in Starscape as it's a neon neutral. It may look scary in the pan but with a light hand it's a beautiful wash of colour on the cheeks. For highlight I've used Kiko's Water eyeshadow in 208 to create a golden glow across the tops of my cheekbones and on my cupids bow. I bronzed up with Laura Mercier's Matte Radiance Baked Powder in Bronze 03.

For eyes I went with a soft pink look with not too much going on. I applied L'Oreal's Colour Riche eyeshadow in 104 La Vie En Rose all over and in the crease. I then applied L'Oreal's Colour Riche eyeshadow in 206 Little Beige Dress just in the inner corner and a Bellápierre pigment in Earth on the outer corner of the lid. I then curled my lashes and applied Magnifibres Treatment/ Primer on my lashes followed by Benefit's They're Real mascara. I didn't apply this on the lower lash line as I didn't want to close off the eye, this makes them look bigger.

Last but not least I've just applied MAC's Lipstick in Angel on the lips to complete the look.

Thanks,
Laura x
