A PALETTE OF NUDES

As a makeup hoarder, obviously, I have many palettes and many palettes that contain nude and transition colours. BUT who wouldn't love to create their perfect palette including colours of their choice? I started creating my Z-Palette back in March 2016 but have since swapped the large palette for the extra large as my nude tones needed more room.

I have finally completed my Z-Palette and of course, my first one is full of the most perfect nude shadows. I have collected single shadows over many months, starting off with Makeup Geek (MUG) and moving onto brands such as MAC and Anastasia Beverly Hills (ABH). I always find myself being drawn to nude tones and I think they look great especially as matte tones for smokey eyes. I, of course, have a few shimmers and satins in there for when I just want that extra pop, but recently I've been loving just having brown tones all over, for a matte eye effect.

Shadows in order:

MUG Voltage, MUG White Lies, MAC Blanc Type, MAC Brulé, MUG Vanilla Bean, MAC Nylon, MUG Rapunzel

MUG Shimma Shimma, MUG Peach Smoothie, MUG Beaches & Cream, ABH Stone, ABH Custard,  MAC Ricepaper, MUG Mirage

MAC All That Glitters, MUG Crème Brûlée, MUG In The Spotlight, ABH Birkin, MUG Frappé, ABH Bengal, ABH Fawn

MAC Woodwinked, MUG Mocha, ABH Fudge, MUG Cocoa Bear, MAC Swiss Chocolate, MUG Starry Eyed, MUG Latte

MUG Vintage, MUG Bitten, MUG Cherry Cola, ABH Aubergine, ABH Hot Chocolate, MUG Americano, MUG Corrupt

I swear that all these shadows are different and they each help to achieve the most perfect eye looks (even though at least half of them look the same colour in the pan). ABH and MAC both retail for £10 each and MUG now for £6 on BeautyBay (why do they keep increasing the price?) but I would rank MUG the highest as the quality for the price is amazing. Anastasia Shadows I find are slightly better than MAC but all hold a place in my heart (and palette). Which are your favourite shadows?

Thanks,
Laura x
