PINK OMBRÈ LIPS

Today was the day I finished my second a-level YAY!!  So naturally I was in an extremely good mood. This led me to wanting to mix up my make up a bit. Recently I've been really loving MAC's Candy Yum Yum in the Matte finish. It's such a fun pretty shade of hot pink with a slight undertone of blue. The only down side to the MAC Matte finishes is they dry my lips so much. However I'm willing to suffer for this amazing shade! I've literally been wearing it daily.

I've started following a lot of make up artists on Instagram which have inspired me to getting more creative on my face! I have seen the ombrè lip achieved a few times over Instagram (which I LOVE, but was just to scared to try it for myself), however today was a different story.

To create the look I first of all used a lip brush to apply MAC's Candy Yum Yum precisely lining the lip. I then filled in with the same colour. Once I had done this I used my little finger to apply MAC's Studio Finish Concealer in NW15. I used my finger as the warmth from it would help to slightly melt the product making it easier to blend. I then used a tapping motion to apply the concealer to the middle of my lip trying to blend it out. I did then use a Barry M lip liner in LL13 to create a lighter pink tone in the centre. And thats it! Pretty easy once you get the hang of it and it looks like you've put loads of time in! I think a bit of gloss in the centre would also look really great as a finishing touch! Really loving the ombrè lip at the moment!
