Hey guys! Another make up purchase I've made this month. Fair to say I've gone a little cray with the make up, BUT I did do lots of over time at work... So I guess I deserve to treat myself! I hadn't heard too much of this brand before, but I had been interested in Gerard Cosmetics after seeing Kylie Jenner used one of their liquid lipsticks in one of her Instagram selfies. Obviously whatever the Kardashians/ Jenners do everyone else has to follow! After browsing the site for a few minutes I found their lipsticks and liquid lipsticks. I've been really dying to try a liquid lipstick, hopefully I'll get my hands on the Anastasia Beverly Hills range soon!
I was really impressed with the colours so I decided to pick up 4 lipsticks and 2 liquid lipsticks! As I do, I looked online and found some discount codes so of course I had to go for it!! I ordered on the 12th of August and they arrived on the 22nd, seeing as I didn't pay for delivery and I think they came from the states I don't think this was a super long time to be waiting!
Each lipstick and liquid lipstick came in a little black box with gold detailing, which I was surprised about because I had read online some customers had only received the bullet with no packaging at all.
I really love the gold packaging on the lipsticks, they definitely make a statement in your make up collection! I've placed them pride of place next to my MAC collection and they do look super pretty! The Hydra-Matte Liquid Lipsticks retail at $20.00 USD each and the Lipsticks retail at $18.00 USD each, which with the exchange rate isn't too bad!
They're quite comfortable to wear on the lip, I found the liquid lipsticks worked better for me. However, I will still be getting a lot of use out of the lipsticks! I think my favourite colour is Underground, just because it's very different to anything else I own.
