2015 FAVOURITES

Hey guys! Welcome to 2016. This post is my 2015 favourites, it was hard to pick what I've been loving most this year as I have used/ bought so much in the way of make up. However I think my picks are relevant to what I've used since the beginning of 2015. Also I hope you're all loving the new photos and swatches, I think they look that bit more professional! Anyway here are my favourites...

MAC LIPSTICK(S) BLANKETY, FAUX
£15.50
I've been a big fan of MAC lipsticks for years now, just like many others I find they're good value for money comparing them to other brands with similar formulas. In 2015 the most used colours I've reached for would be Blankety and Faux. They're very similar however Blankety is lighter and contains more of a pink undertone. These would be my favourite nude shades I own to date and I can see myself reaching for them throughout 2016 too. MAC Lipstick collection post here.

BELLÁPIERRE PIGMENT CHAMPAGNE
£12.99
I received the Snow Flake pigment in a beauty box earlier in the year and after finding Rachel Leary on youtube (here) I found the NEED to buy the Champagne pigment. I bought it on Amazon and used my Prime delivery so it came the next day. It's a gorgeous shade for highlighting and using in the centre of the eye.

L'ORÉAL SUPER LINER PERFECT SLIM INTENSE BLACK
£6.99
This is my most used eyeliner of 2015. Having bought over 5 of them this year you can tell they're very well loved. The tip of the liner is very thin allowing you to be very ocd with your winged look. I find they do dry out after a while but all eyeliners I've owned in the past do. But for less than £10 you can't really go wrong.

NARS MATTE MULTIPLE ALTAI
£29.00
I actually bought this in 2014 but have got the most out of it this year. I've nearly finished my first stick and love it to create heavily contoured looks for a night out! It took me several months to find a replacement for when this does eventually run out, but I have a back up now so I can get back into using this dream of a contour stick.

NARS BRONZER LAGUNA
£27.50
This has been a favourite of mine since 2012. At the end of 2015 I have discovered more bronzers from different brands but I always fall back to my Laguna as it's been a cult product of mine for so long now. It's easily bendable and I'm on my 2nd since purchasing my first in July 2012, so it lasts really well!

HOURGLASS AMBIENT LIGHTING POWDER(S) LUMINOUS LIGHT, ETHEREAL LIGHT
£38.00
These have been a 2015 discovery for me as this year has been a year of branching away from brands that I had owned a lot of. I wanted to try Hourglass as these powders looked so amazing and they are. I find that I've been using these powders in the undereye area when I don't bake with my Laura Mercier Loose Powder (mentioned here).

NARS HIGHLIGHTING BLUSH ALBATROSS
£23.00
Previous post here
This was my first highlighter bought early in 2015/ late 2014. Since expanding my make up collection in the latter part of 2015 I haven't used it as much as I used to. However, it's still a favourite of 2015 as this started my love for highlighters. Since I've bought over 20 of the bloody things. If you'd like a whole highlighter collection post let me know!

NARS RADIANT CREAMY CONCEALER VANILLA LIGHT2
£22.00
I've reached for this and the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer (drugstore option) throughout 2015 as under eye concealers. I find that as the name describes this NARS Concealer is very creamy and easily blend-able. I find it doesn't make your under eye area look cakey and thick. A really lovely splurge option to the Collection one.

NARS SHEER GLOW FOUNDATION(S) SANTA FE MEDIUM2, MONT BLANC LIGHT2, SIBERIA LIGHT1
£31.00
I haven't really experimented with too many foundations in 2015. But my NARS Sheer Glow hasn't let me down. I now own 4 bottles of this goodness and use it daily. I really love the coverage as on me it's not thick and doesn't feel like your skin can't breathe anymore. I own a few different shades as through the year obviously your skin colour changes when going from summer to winter. It's also really lovely when mixed with a liquid highlighter and creates a less medium coverage look which I love.

EVE LOM KISS MIX
£16.00
A late find in 2015 but I would't have it any other way. I'm so pleased that I have found this product as it saves my lips. I tend to get dry lips easily and this little pot of goodness picks them back up in no time. It's also really long lasting and works under lipsticks too! Win win.

EYLURE LASHES
£4.95 - £7.25
2015 was the year of false eyelashes for me. I hadn't really worn them much before but I'd like to think I've mastered applying them in a year. I haven't branched out to many brands of false lashes but Eylure are easy to get hold of and don't break the bank. I have a few favourites that I repurchase and they are: the Lengthening 116 lashes and the Texture 117 lashes. Both of these enhance the look but don't over do it. I find that these lashes are also really easy to apply!

NARS ITA KABUKI BRUSH
£43.00
This brush is a game changer when it comes to contouring. I love to use this to chisel out my cheekbones and nose. It creates a gorgeous look and enables you to get precise when applying bronzers and contour products!

ZOEVA ROSE GOLD COLLECTION(S)
£55.00
These brushes were discovered and had to be bought purely for the fact of how gorgeous they are. I bought 2 sets of these brushes and I haven't looked back since. They work gorgeously and look just as good when sat on your vanity or in your collection.

What have been you 2015 favourites?

Thanks,
Laura x
