LIP EDIT

Hey ya'll! Just a little lip edit I put together combining my fav lip colours all into one post. This is mainly on pink and nude tones (as you can probably tell from the above image), as this is what I tend to own the most of and get the most wear out of. I think in 2016 I want to branch out and try more weird and wonderful shades of lippy, however I've put myself on a spending ban this month in hopes of actually saving some money! Remember that post I wrote "Need VS Want" yeah that never happened that month. So I'm starting again! New year, new me and all that.

(You can't really see any lipstick colour or packaging shape in this image, I just thought it looked cool so enjoy)!

These are my nude and pink lip picks. I only ever tend to wear nude or pink and maybe a bit of purple from time to time. I just find that these warm up my complexion and brighten my skin, creating a lovely glow and ya'll should know by now I love a good glow! I always thought I had more pink lipsticks than nude... Turns out this blog post has proved me wrong. But who doesn't love a good nude lippy hey!

I've tried to pick from a varied budget going from brands such as Burberry and Chanel to NYX and Rimmel. To be honest the Rimmel Kate lipsticks are creamy and easy to work with making them in my opinion one of the best high street/ drugstore options. Saying that it is hard to pull me away from my MAC lipsticks.

My only concern with the Gerard Cosmetics Lipsticks is that I tend to find they're a bit dry, making them hard to work with. Comparing them to the texture of even a MAC matte lipstick, MAC still has a creamy, easy to work with consistency. However, MAC lipsticks are more expensive, so I guess you're getting what you've paid for. BUT the Gerard Cosmetics Hydra Matte Liquid Lipsticks are insane and the colours are amazing!

Whats your favourite shade of lip? Are you a nude toned person too?!

Thanks,
Laura x
