Glossier UK Launch

So as everyone knows by now Glossier started shipping to the UK on Monday (9th  October) and obviously I had to place an order. I've been lusting over this brand for months dying to try everything they have to offer. I did limit myself to just getting a few things...

Who are Glossier?
First of all, have you been living under a rock? Glossier are made up of a team of beauty editors who started a beauty website called Into The Gloss back in 2010. As beauty editors, they say that they've tried every beauty product under the sun. They believe that beauty should be fun, easy, imperfect and personal. Skin is in.

I first found Glossier via the Into The Gloss site and Instagram. The millennial pink vibes that are featured throughout their online presence and in their packing itself is something I'm so into. I decided on the Lip Gloss, Balm Dotcom Trio in Birthday, Mint and Original, Cloud Paint Duo in Puff and Dusk and lastly the Body Hero Duo. Along with a sample of the new Glossier You, which I'm so super excited about (smells incredible) and their Milky Jelly Cleanser.

I think another order is going to be on the cards soon I'm interested in trying their #1 best seller Boy Brow and their Milky Jelly Cleanser and obviously the new Glossier You fragrance when it launches. I'm also a good lover of an oil or serum so the Supers are something I'm interested in trying!

Anyway back to this gorgeous package. I placed the order on the 9th and it came on the 13th which isn't a bad turn around time seeing as they haven't even been shipping to the UK for a week yet.

First up, THE DETAILS. This brand is something which amazes me, their attention to detail is incredible. The box came with a Glossier branded tape holding it shut. The inside was, you guessed it, millennial pink swoon. I received some gorgeous Glossier stickers as well! My order came in two of their infamous pink bubble wrap pouches. In the first was their latest launch the Body Hero Duo.

First Impressions

Body Hero Daily Oil Wash and Perfecting Cream
Ok so these are gorgeous! I've never been so excited to shower. The packaging on all of these products feels high quality and they just look so adorable. They both smell amazing. The website states that its Orange blossom Neroli for a soft baby-fresh scent - I couldn't agree more. I'm OBSESSED. The perfecting cream is also incredible. It's rich but sinks in quickly. It reminds me of the MAC Strobe cream but better, there's a pink hue which is left on your skin and looks amazing! I'm in awe. In all this excitement I forgot to mention that the oil comes with a pump separate so it makes for easy travelling! (Body Hero mirror sticker included).

Balm Dotcom Trio
Original, Birthday and Mint
Ok so this was the first ever product that I was dying to try from Glossier. The packaging is so cute and looks amazing sat on your shelf. I decided to try out the untinted Balm Dotcom's on my first time around. I'm not a big one for heavily tinted lip balm so I thought that I'd enjoy these more. First impressions - good I'll see if it replaces my love for the Eve Lom Kiss Mix.

Lipgloss
Lipgloss. Lipgloss is my current obsession. I LOVE a good clear gloss I think it improves any makeup look and helps you to feel more glam on no-makeup days. This gloss isnt sticky like the MAC Lipglass but it still feels nourishing and easy to wear. I can tell that this is going to be my go-to along with my Dior Addict Lip Maximizer.

Cloud Paint
I love using cream makeup products. I've been a big fan of the Daniel Sandler Watercolour Liquid Blush for a while now. The name of the glossier product represents the products so well, the colours are literally the same as you would get in a sunset bursting through the clouds. I also love how the packaging looks like little paint tubes.

Glossier You
In-cred-ible. I love it. It's fresh and I feel like it's going to be my new favourite fragrance. I'll be keeping my eye out for the launch date!
