L'ORÉAL PARIS RENEWAL LASH SERUM

Recently I've been trying out L'Oréal's lash serum. I was noticing that my lashes were frequently falling out when curling my lashes, or taking off my mascara. When I got home from NYC my mum had bought this product for me as she had seen reviews on it which were positive. Having heard this I decided to start using it that night.

The product does not grow your lashes, but I found it simply enhanced mine as they looked a lot more healthy than they did before I was using the product. The serum strengthens the lashes, preventing them from falling out, this in turn gives a fuller lash effect as the rest of the lashes grow and catch up with the rest. This creates a fuller healthier set of lashes! The actual product came without any instructions when it arrived so I had to hit up trusty Google to figure out how to use it. After traipsing the internet for a while I figured out what to do.

The way I personally use this product is after I've taken off my make up at night just before bed. I like to make sure all my mascara from that day is fully off my lashes before I apply the serum.  I found the applicator quite strange at first as its designed like a mascara brush without the bristles. There is also an indent on the applicator which holds the serum inside it. I apply this to my lashes by focusing on the roots and bringing the product up to the tips of the lashes. When at the tips I like to use the indent to apply the serum to the tips. Once my lashes are fully coated I leave the product on over night (I have read that some people have irritation with this product so I'd test this out on your skin before applying it around the eye area).

Once I've woken up I like to wash the product off my lashes as they can sometimes clump together - making it hard to apply mascara. I've also heard that the product can be used as a primer before mascara and curling the lashes - I personally wouldn't do this as when I apply the serum my lashes tend to stick and clump together as there is no bristles on the applicator!
I have seen improvements with this product and am pleasantly surprised! I would happily re-purchase it in the future.

Thanks again,

Laura xx
