SAVE YOUR LASHES

So I'm sure a lot of us have those lashes which you've forgotten the name of, that you love dearly that have glitter and eyeshadow all over them. You could just go out and try to buy more, or if you're on a beauty budget I have found the answer to making them look brand new again! Here's how I saved my favourite lashes...

So heres what they looked like before I managed to bring them back to life... (Excuse the crusty before picture, I didn't think this would work as well as it did!)

And heres the after picture...

I know I know, I'm some sort of miracle worker. But jokes aside don't they look brand new?!

What you'll need is some q-tips, tweezers, eye makeup remover and eyelash curlers. So start off by soaking an end of the q-tip in the eye makeup remover then place this on the lash by gently rubbing off the makeup in the direction of the lash... If that makes any sense, bear with me. This is going to be harder to explain than it actually is!!

So once you've managed to get off all the eyeshadow and glitter and rubbish, your lash will be quite damp. Throughout the process you'll want to place the lash in the palm of your hand and use the q-tip in the centre to push and bend the lash into the curve that it had once before. I did this by rolling the q-tip along the spine placed on my palm as this is already a curved surface.

Repeat the steps until all the make up is off the lashes. You then either want to use the tweezers or your fingers to pull off the glue along the spine of the lashes, this will make them easier to apply when you re-use them. If you're like me you may also have glue on not just on the spine, you'll want to use the q-tip again to rub in the direction of the lash to get this glue off.

Finally use the curlers to curl the lashes like you would your normal ones. Start at the spine and work your way out - depending how curled you like your falsies! After these steps you should be good to go and have lashes that look brand new!!

Be sure to let me know if this works for you too!

Thanks,
Laura x
