ANASTASIA BEVERLY HILLS - GLOW KITS

Ever since these came out I had been dying to get my hands on them. But living in the UK we're always last for these gorgeous beauty launches. Cult Beauty brought the Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kits to the United Kingdom and I could not have been more excited. I decided on ordering both, because I just couldn't not... I mean how pretty are they?!

Above is the Anastasia Beverly Hills That Glow - Glow Kit. Full of warm tones perfect for the summer months when your skin has a sun kissed glow.

Above is the Anastasia Beverly Hills Gleam - Glow Kit. This kit is full of the cooler tones which are perfect for us fair skinned girls and also perfect for the colder months.

As the pictures show, I couldn't wait to take a picture before testing them out!

These palettes are obviously powders and they are extremely velvety and easy to blend. I love laying the shades together as I'm really in love with the glow that they create. You can apply them with a damp brush to create a more intense finish on the skin. The swatches below are dry showing just how pigmented they really are.

GLEAM PALETTE

This palette was created for fair skin which I am at the moment. Bring on the summer months! They all hold a cool undertone which could also work well for the winter season. These palettes are meant to be universal and work on every skin tone and I can see why.

HARD CANDY
"Mood-changing golden peach with a pink pearl reflective finish"
This is the most beautiful shade I've ever seen, I think it may actually be my favourite shade from both palettes. It's so unique and beautiful and it's a shame that the swatch image doesn't do it justice. I don't normally reach for a pink toned highlighter but I feel like this will be my favourite for the next few months. It's like nothing else I own and as my previous highlighter BLOG POST suggests I own a fair few.

MIMOSA
"Radiant golden peach with a metallic finish"
Mimosa is very similar to Bubbly and Dripping in Gold in the That Glow palette however was obviously made with fair skinned girls in mind. I can see myself using this shade a lot as its similar to my Becca highlighter. It also looks stunning all over the lid as an eyeshadow.

STARBURST
"Rush of cool pink with an iridescent finish"
This cool toned pink looks so beautiful on the skin but also as an all over lid colour. The pink is a perfect tone to flatter the skin without it looking like a shimmery over the top blush. The iridescent finish helps to really make what you want to accentuate POP without big chunks of glitter.

CRUSHED PEARL
"Glimmering pink and silver with a crystallised chrome finish"
I'm so in love with Crushed Pearl. I think it creates the most perfect icy cool toned highlight. It also looks stunning on the inner corner and really makes the area pop.

THAT GLOW PALETTE

This palette was created for medium to dark skin tones as they hold a warm undertone. These palettes are meant to be universal and work on every skin tone and I can see myself using all of these shades on my fair skin.

SUNBURST
"Bright, luminous gold with a metallic finish"
I feel like Sunburst is the classic yellow gold highlight, very similar to Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed - Moonstone which is a beautiful, beautiful highlighter. I can see this shade being very popular.

GOLDEN BRONZE
"Sultry, warm bronze with a gold-flecked finish"
As I'm pretty fair I think I'll use this one mostly as a eyeshadow as it's still a gorgeous bronze on the lid. But on darker skin tones I think this would look so beautiful as it does hold a warm glow.

BUBBLY
"Rose champagne with a pearlescent finish"
Bubbly reminds me very much of the Becca X Jaclyn Hill Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed - Champagne Pop mixed with the Laura Mercier Face Illuminator - Indiscretion, which are two of my favourite shades from my highlighter collection. It holds a beautiful rose gold tone which looks beautiful on basically every skin tone.

DRIPPING IN GOLD
"Lavish gold with a vivid, reflective finish"
This shade is more of a gold than Bubbly which gives a variety of tones within the palette. Again its a gorgeous shade and it's super velvety and easy to apply onto the skin.

I'm so in love with all of the shades within these palettes and I'm so happy they were brought to the UK!

Are you planning on purchasing a Glow Kit? Or have you already?
