THE EFFORTLESS NARS FACE

Since I own a lot of NARS goodies I wanted to try using one brand to create a make up look. I wanted to create something that would be an easy, quick go to that I'd be able to rely on this summer. The only thing I used that wasn't NARS was a Mascara; as I really don't see the point in an expensive mascara. This is sort of a no makeup- makeup look, but made me look very awake even though I really wasn't.

The look below is what I managed to achieve. As a I'm the type of girl who literally packs powder highlight all over my face. I wanted to restrict myself to just using a liquid highlight as I feel this creates more of a 'glow from within' look. This is 100% a look I've been going for a lot recently as it's so effortless but still looks lovely. I'm always about getting my base perfect, so not layering foundation on helps to clear the skin and enables it to breath, also improving the appearance. I find not using a foundation looks fresh in the summer time and also helps the sun to hit your face that bit easier. Sticking to liquid products I used the NARS Liquid Laguna just to warm up the face and create a base for when I add powder bronzer on later. I used NARS Orgasm blush just to add a flush of pink to the cheeks and NARS Laguna just to warm up the skin around the areas that would naturally get hit by the sun.

Using a nude liner in the waterline helps to brighten the eyes and create an awake look even when you may not feel so awake. I've also been hit and miss when applying mascara to my bottom lashes as some times I feel not having mascara there can also help to widen the eyes and create a really fresh look.

I finished the look with NARS Raquel on the lips as I didn't want anything too bold as I was creating a very glowing youthful look. I felt like a nut lipstick added the perfect touch.

Thanks,
Laura x
