Glossier Review

"Hi it's me again with another Glossier post because I'm the biggest glossier fan girl there is. I've had to stop myself placing my 3rd order several times now."

I know that everyone is probably 100% bored of glossier being the main topic of everyone's blog posts by now but I thought I'd do more of an in-depth review seeing as I've been playing with these products for a few weeks now.

Balm Dotcom
First up as you can probably see the Balm Dotcom is probably my favourite balm ever (I think I like it more than my cult favourite Eve Lom Kiss Mix).

The Original Balm Dotcom is by far my favourite, with the Rose Balm Dotcom being my least. I already knew I didn't like the smell of roses but the packaging and the addiction to collecting the whole range still made me pick it up. I love the slight tint that this balm gives its just the scent that isn't my favourite. I really enjoy using the Cherry flavour as it gives a gorgeous red tint to your lips whilst being so comfortable to wear. I do find that applying this with a lip brush is easier due to the darker tint that it has. The Birthday edition is pretty with the glitter being within the formula however, I do feel like I can feel little bits of glitter when moving my lips around; this doesn't stop me from wearing it and wanting to feel like a disco ball. The Coconut flavour is like summer in a tube. I'm a big fan of Coconut scented products in the summer so I know that this will be my #1 for then. Last not least of the Balm Dotcom round up is the Mint flavour. I really enjoy using this one on cold winter like mornings as it feels cold and fresh but with lots of hydration. My lips have never felt better! I have also used the Orginal on some spots that have gone dry to hydrate the area over night - this always helps when trying to cover them in the morning with make up.

Lipgloss
I love lipgloss. I'm on a real lipgloss hunt right now and I can tell you that this is filling all of my needs. I really love a great clear lipgloss recently as I haven't been wanting to put lots of make up on. I feel like this is the perfect touch for those days where I just want to feel that bit extra glam. I don't find this sticky like I do with some of my MAC Lipglosses and it's really comfortable to wear whilst lasting quite a long time.

Cloud Paint
I'm a big fan of Daniel Sandler's Watercolour Liquid Blushes and after some use, with both, I can tell you they're both different textures. I find that with the Cloud Paint is thicker and gives more of a colour payoff with a smaller amount of product. I do find it hard to get the right amount of product out but I do really like the effect that this gives on your cheeks. I have used Dusk as an eye shadow which looked beautiful and I've also used them on my lips. I think that the cloud paints are a great multi-purpose product which is easy to use.

Boy Brow
I don't think I've ever used a brow product like this. I used to use the Benefit Gimme Brow which I was a big fan of along with the NARS Brow Gel. However, this is something else. I bought this in clear as I wasn't sure what shade to get and I find that clear is more versatile. I think that this brow gel looks great and helps your brows stay in place all day. I've recently been using it with my Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Pomade and I've really enjoyed using them together. Some brow gels can dry and look clumpy whereas this dries without doing that. I've also been using this to keep my fly aways down when styling my hair and it works just as well for that!

Body Hero Duo
This is the best shower oil/ cream ever! It's a pleasure to use and very hydrating. Also smells gorgeous and looks gorgeous in your shower! The body cream is equally as amazing and sinks into the skin quickly whilst leaving a beautiful glow to your skin. Like in my first impression haul post it's like a giant tube of MAC Strobe Cream but better.

Glossier You
This perfume has been my favourite ever since getting the sample in my first order. As I'm not great at describing scents my last post about Glossier wasn't the most helpful. They've recently released the notes:

Three base notes ambrette, ambrox and musk with a mix of top notes iris root and pink pepper.

Each note was chosen to make sure that it didn't change as it dries down. They tried to create a scent that smells like you. I think it just smells like a naturally great smelling person, it's smooth and clean but holds a woody note too. The musk within the base notes is what makes it so addictive, I'm always smelling my wrists throughout the day when I've put this on! It's the perfect scent.

My hit list includes - The Phase 1 Set, Generation G in Like, Haloscope in Quartz and the Invisible Shield.
