Last week in Lipstick V. I

I love Lipstick. Lipgloss. Lipbalms. I'd have to say its one of my favourite make up products. I thought it would be fun to try and document my weeks this year through the products I wear on my lips. I own A LOT of lip products and always seem to add to the collection. I thought that this little project would push me to try more colours in my collection and venture to the products that I've perhaps forgotten about. The past week was a bit of a no make up week. I've decided that this is something that I'm going to try to do more this year to really let my skin breathe.


I started off the week with the Glossier Coconut Balm Dotcom. We all know I love the Glossier Balm Dotcom's so this was an easy start. I picked up the Coconut edition to lift the Janurary blues and try to remember what summer was like. I find I gravitate towards a lot of coconut scented products in the summer.

I then went for the Dior Addict Lip Glow in 001. I don't normally wear this product as I really like a lighter nude lip. As this product picks up the PH levels I have to be in the mood for a darker pink tone. I've decided that I want to embrace the natural colour of my lips more this year and I think that this product will help me to do so. ALSO who else is so excited to see what the New Lip Glows are like? I have my eyes on the 101 Matte Pink and 010 Holo Pink!

I then went for the MAC Liptensity in Driftwood. I LIVE for this shade. On my skin tone it comes up as a cooler nude tone with a hint of grey. It reminds me a lot of the MAC Really Me lipstick which was one of my favourites in 2017.

Charlotte Tillbury Kim K.W Lipstick. This is more of a peachy pink colour. I do find that this shade can dry my lips out slightly this time of year, even though its a moisturing consistensy. I have to normally pair this one with a lip balm underneath.

Ended the week with the Glossier Birthday Balm Dotcom. Like I said earlier I can't live without these balms now and having them in 6 different editions/ flavours just means that I can wear them all the time without feeling guilty for wearing the same thing. I fancied a bit of a sparkle to perk up the end of the week which was fulfilled with the Birthday edition.

I find that I'm really into lip balms at the moment due to the colder weather. What have you been wearing on your lips?
