Maison Margiela: Lazy Sunday Morning

Meet my new edition...

I've recently been more into my perfumes along with layering smells to create the perfect scent. I find that the scents with simple fresh notes are some of my favourites. Maison Margiela's Lazy Sunday Morning candle has been one of my favourites, obviously after my Diptyque candles, so I decided to purchase this signature fragrance so I could smell as good as this makes me feel.

First of all who doesn't love a lazy Sunday morning dozing in fresh bed sheets with blue skies. The packaging of this perfume is simple and elegant much like the actual fragrance. The scent is a perfect reminder to me of exactly what the bottle describes, soft skin and bed linen. I think that their Replica range is a perfect range to encourage provoking memories through fragrance.

Top Notes: Aldehydes, Pear Accord, Lily of the Valley Accord

Middle Notes: Iris Accord, Rose Absolute, Orange Flower Accord

Base Notes: White Musk Accord, Indonesian Patchouli Oil, Ambrette Seeds Absolute

The top notes should hold the scent for 45 minutes to an hour, whilst the middle notes should hold it for 4 to 5 hours. Leaving the base notes to last 24 hours or more, fixing itself to clothing.

I feel like this fragrance was the perfect introduction to Maison Margiela. I'm eyeing up their Beach Walk and Lipstick On fragrances for my next purchases.

Have you tried Maison Margiela's fragrances?
