Skin Savour: Rose Quartz

I've always been a fan of a pamper and taking time out to do so. Recently, I've been getting into my facial rollers and facial massages. Rose Quartz is well known for its spiritual healing powers and how it promotes love, self-love, friendship, deep inner healing and feelings of peace. It also produces energy rays of determination and commitment (it's also pink and beautiful)! After reading about the crystal and researching into facial rollers I decided to purchase the Rose Quartz Facial Roller over the Jade. A few brands stock these such as Herbivore Botanicals and Omorovicza. They can also be found on Amazon and Etsy.

I've found that facial massage helps to assist lymphatic drainage, lifts contours of your face and de-puffs my under-eye bags. Using the facial rollers, there is a variety of ways and motions that can be carried out promote these effects. The stone is cold, this can be enhanced by placing your roller in the fridge, which promotes the relaxing healing benefits.

Stress Relieving Routine:
This helps to ease tight stiff facial muscles
Using the roller work in back and forth motions over the jaw-line, cheekbones and forehead to contour the face. This will create a glow and tighten the skin.

Lymphatic Drainage Routine:
This helps to drain the fluids in the face and de-puff
Use the roller to work outwards on the face, repeat these strokes 5/6 times. Doing these motions replicates the lymph flow and enables waste products to drain away from the skin tissue.

I've found using this roller helps to create a time I spend looking after myself and taking care of my skin. It also looks beautiful on my shelves. Have you tried out any facial rollers?
