I've had a month of makeup relapse and my bank account has seen it. However I have fallen in love with many items this month and I just wanted to share them with you all (as they've made me a lot happier than they should)!! Especially the Juicy Shakers from Lancome which I have a blog post coming up soon about! But lets get into these March favourites.
BEAUTY
Stila Liquid Lipstick - Baci
The hunt for the perfect liquid lipstick is still underway BUT Stila has has put the breaks on the hunt momentarily. Baci is such a gorgeous shade and I always catch my friend putting it on whenever she's round! I find that liquid lipsticks are drying and its just something you're going to have to put up with if you're wanting one. BUT I have found applying a clear lip balm on top, although takes away the matte, helps with creating a more comfortable feel on the lips.
OPI Polish - Barefoot in Barcelona
I used to be that girl who always had different nail art each week. I've recently fallen back into the love of painting my nails and just a general pamper. My friend gave me a manicure and used this shade on me and I fell in love. I just had to buy it, its a beautiful shade and I feel like it would look lovely with a tan too. I've always been into nude nail polish but never found one that I really love, this one will be in my favourite nudes for a while!
Makeup Geek Eyeshadows
So this month I found the joy that is Makeup Geek shadows. I started off with 12 pans (post here) and I've already purchased the rest to completed my Z Palette. The love is real. Seeing as they're £4.95 its a real steal and great value for money! I always justify it by thinking that a MAC pan costs £10.00 so they're basically half price and just as gorgeous! I'm already looking into more and buying the super big Z Palette!!
Lancome Juicy Shaker - 400 Mint
The new Lancome Juicy Shakers are out and #bantheboring is well and truly underway in my makeup bag. Soon as I saw this I was so excited by the colour of the product, although its obviously not as bright on the lip as in the container, there is an undertone of blue when applied to the lips creating a gorgeous plump look. When aren't plump lips in-trend with Kylie Jenner about?
Anastasia Beverly Hills Gleam Glow Kit - Mimosa
Such an exciting purchase this month and it has been well and truly loved since. The ABH Glow Kits are actually life. They're so gorgeous and there's so many ways to wear them. I do pour these all over my face whenever I get the chance, I just love the dewy, glowing look. BUT I've been loving the shade Mimosa as an eyeshadow! Its looks gorgeous with just a bit of mascara and really stands out beautifully. I do also love using them wet as it creates a bolder look.
OTHER
Once Upon a Time - Netflix
Since Pretty Little Liars has finished for the time being, I was on the hunt for another series to binge watch. I did try to watch this already but couldn't get into it. This month I would say that I'm pretty obsessed as I'm half way through season 2 already... No regrets. If you haven't seen this series I strongly recommend you do!!
